Our Building

In 2023, TEF completed the transformation of the building near the Main Post in the Presidio to support the CSSF’s growth and transition to an expanded all-day program. Its design supports our Reggio-Emilia, project-based philosophy and focus on learning through play, featuring ample daylight and nature-forward finishes and furnishings.

Eight classrooms — each named for local birds found in the Presidio — and the Studio all have direct access to the outdoors. Our spacious, indoor multipurpose space, The Meadow, provides a central gathering and community-building space for activities (e.g. yoga, music), parent education, and teacher training sessions.

Our home offers a vibrant and functional environment that fosters collaboration, creativity, and holistic learning experiences for the entire community.
